History

Almost a hundred years, three generations of Prataviera-Jegerlehner family has been working with passion in their vineyards in Gascony. They succeeded in creating wide range of elegant wine, owing to their exceptional terroir.

1920: Jean Francois Morel, a Swiss winemaker who settled in Gascony acquired 10 hectares estate.

1960: Denise & Jean Jegerlehner, the 3rd generation of family had built their 1st cellar and extended the vineyard. Their son, Philippe, joined them and now he spends all his time in vineyards.

1988: passion for good wines had reached their daughter Elisabeth Prataviera, winemaker and oenologist.  As a result, together, they extended the estate up to 160 hectares.

2003: the family bottled their first wine for the first time.

Nowadays, the Domaine sells 1,300,000 bottles of wine each year, where  50% of result reached by export.
The estate has been growing and developing in order to be become more popular and well-known in new markets.
