In the heart of the Bas Armagnac appellation, the Domaine de Menard is located on the famous Via Podensis, a road taken for centuries by pilgrims on their way to Saint Jacques de Compostelle.

In this beautiful Gascony landscape, the winery spreads over 160 hectares, entirely in the IGP Cotes de Gascogne.

The Domaine de Menard’s vineyard is located on an ancient terroir of excellent quality. 23 million years ago, the Sea was covering the whole area, that’s why fossils are frequently found there, as well-known marine geological site explains.

The Colombard, Ugni Blanc & Sauvignon blanc vines - dry white wines, by using grapes which are planted in clay and chalks stony soils, whereas the Petit & Gros Manseng vines, made of overmatured grapes planted in deep, sandy soils which gives elegant sweetness to wine .
